Learn to make this fun modern binding! It was created in the 1980s as a temporary alternative to the Japanese Stab Binding that would open flat. Participants will learn the two-step sewn binding that results in an exposed cover binding that becomes part of the book design and decoration. Decorative papers and colorful threads will be incorporated and students will go home with a new binding technique for their portfolio.
