Expand your understanding of the visual and sculptural capabilities of paper in this weekend workshop. Working with an opaque cotton-abaca blend and translucent fibers, like flax and abaca, experiment with unconventional methods of working with pulp. Use thread and fabric held in tension on a frame to create lacy sheets of paper and dimensional sculptural pieces. Learn how to use earth pigments to color pulp and more if time allows.
