In this three-part virtual workshops, learn how to identify and create different methods of repeat patterns such as basic, half drop, and full drop repeat. Look at the work of contemporary and historic textile and wallpaper designers to draw inspiration and analyze what artists and designers can accomplish visually from simple and complex patterns. Then, draw on inspiration from your own experience to create patterns by hand to print in repeat.
