Enjoy community in the print studio! Set type, make polymer plates, and print on MCBA's presses while social distancing. Requests for a specific press may be made when registering. Fee covers inks and solvents; supply your own paper.

Experience required: Letterpress Lab is designed for those who have completed an introductory level letterpress workshop on the press they plan to use (Vandercook, platen, sign) or have similar experience. If you have questions about your experience level, please email mpoganski@mnbookarts.org prior to registration. If you need training, please see information on our one-to-one tutorials.

$50 (10% member discount)
$25 for BIPOC participants* (10% member discount)
*We are offering a reduced rate to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) participants to honor equity and increase access and artistic opportunities for those who have historically been underrepresented in the book arts. For individuals to whom this does not apply, register at the rate listed first and, if you are able, consider making a donation when registering to support MCBA’s efforts to make reduced rates available.

Registration closes 24 hours in advance. This PDF provides instructions for registered participants on how to enter MCBA upon arrival for Studio Lab and how to follow MCBA’s Covid-19 Health and Safety Protocols.
