Why shop for holiday gifts when you can make them yourself? This workshop will teach participants how to make one-of-a-kind T-shirts, coasters, and tea towels using simple stencil methods. Workshop will cover stencil design, methods for cutting and printing stencils, and techniques for printing multiple colors.

$40/participant
$20 for BIPOC participants
*We are offering a reduced rate to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) participants to honor equity and increase access and artistic opportunities for those who have historically been underrepresented in the book arts. For individuals to whom this does not apply, register at the rate listed first and, if you are able, consider making a donation when registering to support MCBA’s efforts to make reduced rates available.

What you'll need to participate: For this highly participatory virtual workshop we recommend you join on a laptop or desktop computer with a camera and microphone, if possible. You will receive step-by-step instructions for downloading Zoom (it’s free!) and accessing the workshop online approximately 2 days before the workshop’s start date. You are responsible for sourcing your own supplies from the materials list. Teaching artists will answer questions about the materials list in advance of the workshop.
